The Museum is holding an exhibition to celebrate 21 years of the Friend's of Parc Nant y Waun.

It was in 2005, that they took control of the area of land between Brynmawr, Nantyglo and Beaufort. The "Friend's" raised over £200k and planted 1000s of trees and installed footpaths making the Parc accessible to all.

Our year 10 GCSE geography class visited the brilliant exhibition of the Parc Nant Y Waun improvement scheme by Brynmawr Museum. Hundreds of photos, newspaper clippings and planning documents are there to bring back memories of the journey it has taken over the last 25 years.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the museum who answered the huge amount of questions our pupils asked them.
