Winter Snowfall

Brynmawr lies over 1,200 feet above sea level and has therefore experienced many harsh Winters with heavy snowfall, 1947 and 1963 being particularly bad.

The photographs below, were taken around the town during the late 1970's and early 1980's. Fortunately, we haven't experienced such heavy snowfall during recent years.
